In photography, we create a moment and make it timeless. We are able to look back and feel those memories flood in with a single image. Being able to capture the love of a couple or family, standing still with the earth's beautiful colors, is what motivates me. I strive to offer those small moments of happiness for everyone I get to work with, creating images that allow people to relive the emotions of those special moments.
For my current body of work, I seek to capture the unseen beauty of the Western lifestyle. Wanting to incorporate something unique that highlights the rich traditions that often go unnoticed.
In the future, I hope to explore more of the Western regions and cultures, capturing the stories and traditions that shape these communities. My artistic process is grounded with natural light. I often start with a specific idea in mind, but I remain open to spontaneous moments that may unfold during a shoot. It’s in these unscripted moments where I often find the true essence of my subjects.
The social context of my work is shaped by the communities and individuals I photograph. I focus on capturing real, authentic moments that reflect the stories, emotions, and relationships of the people in front of my camera. My work, particularly with families, couples, and individuals from Western backgrounds, is influenced by the growing conversations around identity.
